Early Years Educator – Level 3 £14.35–£15.10 per hour | 36–40 hours per week | Full-time, year-round Are you an Early Years Educator who believes that the best learning starts with secure relationships, curiosity and play? We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reflective Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our established nursery team. We want children to feel safe, secure and truly known as individuals. Our practitioners have the time and opportunity to get to know their children, respond to their interests and needs, and support learning through meaningful play, exploration and everyday experiences. What you'll be doing As an Early Years Educator, you will: Build warm, secure relationships with children through our key-person approach. Support children's learning through play, exploration, conversation and responsive interactions. Observe and respond to children's interests, development and individual needs. Understand children's behaviour as communication and sensitively support their emotional development and self-regulation. Help create an inclusive environment where every child can participate, develop and belong. Build positive partnerships with parents and carers. Contribute your ideas and professional reflections to the wider nursery team. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care and professional practice.
About you We are looking for someone who: •Holds a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification. •Has a good understanding of child development and the EYFS. •Genuinely enjoys spending time with young children. •Values child-led, play-based learning rather than simply delivering activities. •Is warm, patient and emotionally available to children. •Is curious about what children are thinking, feeling and communicating. •Values children's individual personalities, families, cultures and experiences. •Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team. •Is willing to reflect on their practice, learn and continue developing professionally. Hours & Pay 36–40 hours per week £14.35–£15.10 per hour, depending on experience and responsibilities. Posts at Saplings are generally for 52 weeks of the year
